Summer Fayre 2017
Well what a day! The sky threatened to spoil our fun all day but luckily it stayed dry (phew). We had a fantastic turn out this year with all members of the family being able to enjoy our fun stalls, bar and BBQ.
Our raffle was a roaring success, partly due to the cash prize of £100 but mainly due to the hard work, effort and persistence of our class reps who were able to collect donations from each class and turn them into fabulous hampers! Well done!
Of course none of this is possible without the help of our volunteers, organisers, class reps and companies who kindly donate goods. All of this hard work has raised a massive £1500 which will, as always, benefit our pupils.
Finally we have to say a sad farewell to our wonderful Chairperson Caroline Quartly. Caroline has been diligently running the PTFA for many years, putting on fantastic events and raising thousands of pounds. She has done an absolutely fantastic job and will be a hard act to follow. Thankfully Caroline is always close by to help with future events and will still see the children every day at school.
